General Training Info
We meet at the Littledown Centre in Bournemouth every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 7.00 pm (for a 7.10pm start) - Tuesday and Thursday offers three or more different coached sessions for member's to choose from, according to ability, requirements or conditions. Friday offers a single session, usually coached. The focus of each session can be an easy run, hills, speed work or a track session. Club coaches provide a variety of runs through the year with monthly schedules published on the club website. Training runs are normally between 4 - 9 miles, usually regrouping every 10 – 15 min. In each group an experienced qualified coach ensures everyone gets the best out of the session, remains safe and that nobody gets left behind. Minimum age 16.

A smaller group meet most Sundays at 8.30am for longer runs, depending on the season and member's training requirements taking advantage of the daylight and varied terrains available. Sunday runs are essential for marathon training and normally cover a distance of between 10 to 17 miles.

If you are an absolute beginner or getting back into running try the Beginner's Group meeting every Tuesday at 6pm
