RICHMOND PARK MARATHON  - 22nd May

The 26.2 mile course consists of 3 laps of Richmond Park. The first lap is 12 miles and follows a route around the perimeter of the park in addition to cutting through the centre of the park. The second and third laps follow the Tamsin trail, each lap being 7.1 miles long.   It is a beautiful location for a marathon, you will see the Deer in their hundreds, and I was lucky enough to run past just as I heard an enormous roll of thunder (not weatherwise!) and off they all went across the park! An amazing sight to see!
79         Caroline Horder                3.45.14
146        Heather Khoshnevis         4.10.29

KENT ROADRUNNER  -  28th May

The annual Kent Roadrunner Marathon takes place at the multi-million pound Cyclopark venue in north-west Kent. Our course makes use of a perfectly smooth 1.29mi private tarmac circuit - absolutely no traffic, no pedestrians and no dogs! Although gently undulating, the course has consistently delivered a huge percentage of PBs for our entrants.  This was an extremely friendly and great fun race to do - 21 laps are bound to make you "loopy"...but that was the challenge and fun!
78       Heather Khoshnevis           3.38.43     1st F50

Liverpool Rock and Roll Marathon 29th May

Karen Thomson and Nanuka Devi Keycompleted Liverpool Rock and Roll Marathon on the 29th May, finishing in 4.13.48. Well done to you both and thanks for letting me know.

Well that sums up all the information that I have for May races.  If a race that you did has not appeared in this report then that is because I was not there to see you, or I have not received an email to let me know.  I will always check any Club Champ or DRRL races so you do not need to let me know about these, but any other races you take part in that you wish to have mentioned, then you need to let me know...This email address is being protected from spambots. With June now approaching we have 3 DRRL and Club Champ races....5th - Poole 10k,  12th - Puddletown Plod Half and 17th - Purbeck 10k, so look these up and get your entries in fast!

Well done to all for brilliant running in May...now for June when  you can run in the sun!!
