A great turnout from the Harrier men both running and supporting, and some great individual results - please let me know if you got a PB and I will mark it up... well done guys!

Poole 10k

Bransgore 10k (Sun 7th June) - finishers 55
Thanks to Dave Wilson for submitting a race report for this alternative race to Poole 10k (and well done on a second place!):

Today I chickened out of Poole 10k (too hot and windy last year for me) and instead entered Bransgore 10k.
If you haven't been to Bransgore before, it's a charming small village in the New Forest home to our very own Adam Basham (not entered- calf strain).
The course starts and finishes by the village hall on the playing fields. It's just over half off-road (some very narrow paths), and the rest quiet country lanes. Despite the start time of 10.30 if was already getting hot. I think I over did the warm-up.
A quick 'comfort break', and we were off. There was no time for the one water station as I was trying to keep up with a young BAC runner. I died as normal at about 6k (overtaken), but perked up at around 8 (overtook the over-taker). As the BAC whipper-snapper slowly disappeared into the distance I dodged passed the 5k runners and made it back in one piece.
Medal, Banana, Water and a weird yogurt covered breakfast biscuit thing in the goody bag. Well organised race with plenty of friendly marshals. Enjoyable.
Until next year. Unless I enter Poole ;)

Purbeck 10k (Friday 19th June) - finishers 428
Lots of Harriers turned out for this Friday evening Road Race League race... It was a little warm and quite undulating (not the flat course I had remembered - apparently I blocked out the pain from 2 years back!)
Well done on some great performances - and Dave Wilson for getting a PB on a 'non PB course'! Let me know if anyone else bagged a PB.

Thames 10k (Sunday 28th June) - finishers 825
Thanks again to our roving reporter Dave Wilson for a race report on the Thames 10k (and well done mate on another excellent 10k time!):

The race is located in the beautiful Oxfordshire market town of Thame, which is situated 8 miles south east of Oxford, nestling near the foot of the glorious Chiltern Hills. Thame has the widest high street in England and is so beautiful that it's used as location for Midsomer Murders :-). The race starts and finishes at Lord Williams' School. The school has a very distinguished alumni (me!).
The course runs through the town, then into the village of Towersey where you join the disused railway line back to Thame. Fairly flat course. The rain held off for 7k, so the conditions were OK (17oC and 13mph winds). Well organised and marshalled.

Position   Time
33rd Dave Wilson 00:37:48
